HIGH PRICE TRANSFER
At Luker, we are committed to ensuring that on average 90% of the London Cocoa Price is paid directly to our suppliers. This work is led by a team in the field, which, together with farmer associations, regional buyers and our warehouses, verifies and documents each purchase, confirming that the association in turn pays the farmer on average 90% of the price received.
* As of 1 July 2025, Luker Chocolate adopted the London cocoa price as its international benchmark, replacing the New York reference to ensure a tariff-neutral price that better reflects global market conditions.
COCOA TRACEABILITY
Traceability is a core element of Luker’s management systems for food quality, safety and sustainability.
In recent years we have expanded traceability to cover environmental and social criteria, including no deforestation, no forced or child labour and transparent price transfer to farmers. Through the luker trace system, supported by trusty | agrifood supply chain management, approximately 63.27% of exported cocoa is now included in our traceability system, with verified data on farming practices and price transfers.
